About

Welcome to my portal, my world.

You are viewing the personal weblog of Koshal Thirumalai. You can find me on social networking sites like FacebookOrkut and LinkedIn. Feel free to add me as a contact/friend.

I was born in a far away land called Madras, India. I spent the first 19 years of my life finishing up my high school education in Madras and later moved to Seattle for my undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. While at the UW, I’ve had experience working at UW TechnologyROCResearch in the CSE department, and Microsoft. I’m currently employed as an SDET at Microsoft and work with Windows Phones.

My brother and I are avid hikers and it is our annual ritual to hike up Mt.Rainier(Camp Muir) every year. We also do a ton of day hikes over summer as well as camping trips and you can find pictures from these trips on my brother’s flickr account. If you like to join us in one of these camping/hiking/ski trips, feel free to contact us. We are more than happy to have extra company.

My day isn’t complete without listening to c89.5 and it really is the best FM station on this planet. You can find more about my music tastes and my playlists on my Zune page. I like watching random movies as well. So if you ever need company , you know what to do :) I love good food and was born to be a vegetarian.

So there you go, that’s pretty much all you need to know about me as a stranger. Feel free to ping me…
