Surprisingly though, it wasn’t me that was stranded in the parking lot on campus. Finally, it was time that I put my jumpstarting expertise to test after the many, many times that I have left the lights on in my car over the past year and a half.

But I did learn something new today. When you want to start your car up, first, recharge the batteries just enough to deactivate the car’s security system before you try starting the car up again. Otherwise, the security system prevents the car from starting up even though your batteries might be charged.

There you go, another valuable life lesson from me, a been-there-done-that guy :)
