Every year, Microsoft hosts a company picnic for it’s employees. The picnic includes free food, activites among things. They even provide a free shuttle service to and from the venue. This year’s picnic was awesome fun and my brother and I had a great time. They even had a motocross freestyle in the venue and some Japanese drummers putting up a show. Here’s a video taken from my phone -

The past week has been really eventful that I’ve hardly had any time to apend on updating things around here. The best thing that happened all week was me getting my cool new phone and I’m in love with it. Here are some things that I can do on my phone (and I do) -
Check Email (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc)
Take pictures (2 MP camera)
Store stuff (2 Gb storage)
Sync my contacts, data online
Visual Voicemail
Listen to Radio (inc. satellite radio), Music
Watch TV (discovery, comedy central, MTV, you name it and I can watch it)
Unlimited texting/data (part of my plan)
Check weather
Use it as a GPS (with turn by turn directions)
Browse the web
and of course all the other reglar phone functions like making a call and getting one and what not
All these have become such an integral part of my daily life that I wonder how I even survived without these for so long. My day isn’t the same if I can’t wake up and check my mails from my bed. My desktop has been converted into a programming workhouse and the rest of my online activites have moved on to my phone. For those of you who are planning to on getting a smartphone sometime soon, if you are not a fan of the iPhone, I definitely recommend the Samsung Instinct (or Samsung Omnia, if you can get your hands on one).
The possibilites are endless and the future is mobile
